The Star Gold Coast and Treasury Brisbane are set to unleash a sensory overload this summer with an unprecedented line-up of major events, festive parties and culinary experiences with the This Summer Live festival.

The ultimate summertime festival, This Summer Live will have South East Queensland embracing the season with a red-hot gig guide including The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival, Summer Time Drinks pop-up parties in Queen’s Park, ARIA award-winners performing in The Theatre and launch of the new-look LiveWire Sports Bar.

Guests will see summer at every turn with unforgettable festive celebrations, hear the soundtrack that sets the scene with a musical line-up including Human Nature and Havana Brown, taste the flavours of the season with new menus at Garden Kitchen & Bar and Nineteen at The Star and feel the vibes with the sensations of poolside cabana packages at The Star Grand.

Adding to the celebrations will be a sizzling This Summer Live ambassador line-up, with Channel Seven personality Abbey Gelmi and ironman Jett Kenny to host the festival at The Star Gold Coast while former Miss World Australia Erin Holland will join Rugby League legend Sam Thaiday for the carnival at Treasury Brisbane.

With an extraordinary line-up of major events, dining and entertainment experiences on offer, The Star Entertainment Group Chief Marketing Officer George Hughes said the stage was set for an unforgettable summer across both properties.

“Queensland is the perfect destination to celebrate the magic of summer and through This Summer Live we are hosting the State’s biggest season-long party that will take us through the holiday period,” George said.

“The festival features many big moments, including an epic 12 days on The Lawn of Garden Kitchen and Bar as we celebrate our second year as principal partner and naming rights sponsor of The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival in January.

“Treasury Brisbane will get out the deck chairs and DJs for a glamorous pop-up party in Queens Park every Friday evening in December and launch an absolutely huge Australia Day long weekend with the new-look LiveWire Sports Bar and an incredible line-up of entertainment.

“Along with big moments and sizzling entertainment is a host of award-winning dining options across both properties, including the highly anticipated new menu by Nineteen at The Star’s new Executive Chef Uday Huja.”
