First Line Up Announced for Blues on Broadbeach

PreviousNext

As the Queensland events calendar comes to life in 2021, there seems to be no shortage of entertainment in store for the Sunshine State — but there is one missing ingredient… the Blues!
Today, Blues fans can rejoice as one of the largest FREE music events in Australia is announcing its return…
Yes, Blues on Broadbeach is back in 2021, bringing with it a diverse array of local Aussie talent, a range of rising stars, and your all-time blues favourites — some of whom will be performing exclusively for us.

Hungrier than ever to put on another incredible music festival, the Gold Coast’s much-loved Blues event last rocked the streets of Broadbeach in May of 2019, and in 2021 it is slated to light up the streets of Australia’s favourite playground for four days of musical celebration (May 20 – 23, 2021).
With world-class dining, incredible beaches and bars, plus sensational vistas on-offer; Broadbeach is a no-brainer of a location to springboard your Gold Coast getaway, so don’t delay, book your stay and get ready to see a range of stunning performances, all within walking distance of your very own hotel.
Now, without further ado, we present the first line-up:

Tommy Emmanuel, The Black Seeds – a Reggae band from NZ, Christie Anu performing the “Aretha Franklin Songbook”, The Lachy Doley Group, Blue Shaddy and more…

Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate says, “This event is iconic for the Goldie and I know thousands of people travel throughout Australia to get to it. Let’s get those trumpets, saxophones, and guitars humming in 2021.”

The 20th Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival will follow the necessary guidelines to ensure a COVID-safe experience for all attendees, and it will be held from Friday 20th May to Sunday 23rd May, 2021.
Blues on Broadbeach is supported by the Queensland Government via Tourism and Events Queensland and is a feature on the It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar.
