The 2022 Gold Coast Student Excellence Awards
Friday, 11th Nov 2022 @ YOT ClubThe 2022 Gold Coast Student Excellence Awards have marked the end of the academic year by recognising the city’s most outstanding students who have made instrumental contributions to the wider community at a sold-out gala event aboard the YOT Club on Friday November 11.
After a record number of nominees were narrowed down to 18 finalists, six Gold Coast students were awarded for their excellence across various categories.
The Gold Coast Student Excellence Awards are presented by Study Gold Coast and are endorsed by the Office of the Mayor of the Gold Coast, with Deputy Mayor Donna Gates who took to the YOT Club stage to convey the significance of the accolades, which spotlights student achievements in the categories of Peer Support, Diversity, Community, Environment, the Arts and (a new category for 2022) Sport and Wellness.
The six winners for the 2022 Gold Coast Student Excellence Awards are:

Sarah McDonald (Griffith University)
Excellence In Fostering Creative Arts
Katura Halleday (All Saints Anglican School).
Excellence In Promoting Sport and Wellness
Jackson Miller (Bond University).
