Hear from special guest, Australian surfing great and former world surfing champion Joel Parkinson, while supporting three very special community organisations on the Gold Coast.
Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation – which continues to support injured wildlife from the recent Queensland bushfires – along with Cancer Council Queensland and Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, all play an important role in caring for our local community.
As a proud and long-term supporter, The Star Gold Coast’s inaugural charity fundraiser lunch aims to raise further funds and awareness for these wonderful causes.
To be proudly emceed by Nova 106.9FM Brisbane breakfast presenter David ‘Luttsy’ Lutteral, come along and hear Joel Parkinson share his personal connection to the local community from growing up on the Gold Coast beaches to becoming world surfing champion; the outstanding work each charity is delivering through an insightful panel discussion with representatives from each organisation; plus purchase raffle tickets to win some incredible prizes through the charities’ exciting fundraising raffle draw – all the while helping yourself to a spectacular seafood buffet featuring Australia’s best local produce.
Profits from the event will go directly to the three charities.
Tickets start from $150 per person or $1,200 for a table of 10 guests which includes a seafood buffet, drinks package and entertainment.
