Global Wave Fundraiser with Surf Royalty

In a huge coup for the city, the Gold Coast World Surfing Reserve has secured the 6th Biennial Global Wave Conference to be held on the Gold Coast in February 2020 – and The Collective Palm Beach are throwing a fundraising bash with a host of surfing royalty to celebrate!

Previously held in destinations such as Santa Cruz, Argentina and the North Cornwall Coast in England, this is the very first time that the International Ocean Conservation Event will be held in Australia.

Bringing together the best international minds from the surfing, conservation and innovation communities across the globe to tackle the world’s most challenging ocean issues is no small feat!

So, let’s get behind them for a one-off Global Wave Conference fundraiser on Sunday 1^stDecember at The Collective Palm Beach!

Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholomew, Patron of Gold Coast World Surfing Reserve, Cheyne Horan, World Masters Championand Professional Surfer and Global Wave Conference Ambassador, Ellie J. Brooks will be the hosts for the special Hawaiian-themed soiree.

There will be delicious light meals from The Collective’s kitchens, ice-cold drinks, raffles prizes valued at over $5,000 up for grabs (including a rare Richard Harvey handcrafted surfboard), Hula dancing, live music, a Surf & Ocean Photography exhibition from some of the best local photographers and more!
