Yamagen Japanese Hosts an Intimate Champagne Dinner with Billecart-Salmon

QT Gold Coast’s Yamagen Japanese will be hosting an intimate private dining experience with Champagne Billecart-Salmon on Tuesday 20th August.  Guests will embark on a sensuous 6 course gastronomic journey through the history of powerhouse Champagne Billecart-Salmon accompanied by the culinary genius of Executive Chef Adam Lane.

Champagne Billecart-Salmon is the oldest continuously family-owned and operated house in Champagne, France. Founded in 1818 by Nicolas François Billecart and his wife Elisabeth Salmon, Billecart-Salmon is currently managed by the family’s seventh generation, brothers François and Antoine Roland-Billecart.

The house of Billecart-Salmon insist on ceaselessly improving the quality of its champagnes with innovative techniques that embrace the traditional and ancestral champagne making methods, curating the finest champagne. Billecart-Salmon is a darling pleasure among sommeliers as it is known for its finesse and elegance in creating wines that are not too heavy or powerful, but rather perfectly balanced.

Billecart-Salmon have always inspired to work with the top chefs, who are artists in their own right. Hence, with Executive Chef Adam Lane’s innovative gastronomic techniques to traditional Japanese izakaya, this will be an evening showcasing a gallery of culinary imagination and balance between two masterful minds.

This intimate Champagne Dinner will see 18 guests indulge on the finest seafood with the likes of the perfectly classical oyster and caviar duo, King Prawns fired up on the robata grill, seared tian of scallop and a mouth-watering New Zealand scampi tempura to name a few.
