Exclusive access to the Gold Coast’s hottest venues, events and experiences.
It’s all about who you know. And darling, you’ve come to the right place!
At gcVIP we are all about being social, glamour, delicious dining, lavish parties and all things fabulous – best washed down with a little sauv blanc and some salacious gossip.
COVID-19 cut of the circulation to our social balls and made our members so flaccid that some turned to home baking and tried to teach their little gremlins some form of education whilst downing endless G & T’s.
Well stop the press – there is some light at the end of the pandemic that caused our foreheads to display unwanted creases, pumped up lips to deflate and natural hair to emerge grey…WE ARE ON THE COUNTDOWN!
It might be a very gradual countdown to some sense of normality but at least we can now dine in selected restaurants and have someone cook us lunch…and wait….serve it to us and fill up our glasses with wine! Oh the humanity, that we had to endure life without these essential services for months.
Now restaurants can only have 10 people dining at once, which is a little restrictive, but at least they can swing open the doors! Speaking of which, remember the good old days when you could have swinger parties with upwards of 30 people? Opps, l digress.
A handful of restaurants are opening on Saturday 16th May and they include some of our favourites including Shuck Restaurant and D’Arcy Arms. Elk Espresso, Grand Dynasty and Madison’s are also opening up for diners, 10 at a time at The Oasis.
Stay tuned to gcVIP and we will fill you in on more venues once they confirm they are opening in the coming days.
Did somebody say Moreton Bay Bugs and a glass a Veuve served by a hot waiter in a real working restaurant? Yes please, l will have 10 of all three!
xx
