THE GOLD COAST’S NUMBER ONE RESTAURANT ON TRIP ADVISOR FOR THE CITY HAS A NEW HOME!

The incredible Shiraz Persian Restaurant opened 10 years ago on Surfers Paradise Boulevard and has become well known for delicious, authentic and award-winning Persian Cuisine.   Owner Erfan Jalilian and business partner Mohammad Shirmehrjerdi have been on the hunt for a new location for several years, due to the need for a larger venue to cater for all their loyal customers.  They have now finally found a new home at the iconic former ‘Pink Poodle’ site, which today is the Mantra Wings Surfers Paradise.   

“We have built such a loyal customer base over the last ten years and during the weekends prior to COVID-19 restrictions, we would have over 250 customers each night.   As we slowly head back to some sort of normality and get closer to Christmas, as soon as we found the location, we knew it was perfect for us, so there is no time like the present to expand and get ready for a busy festive season.” said owner Erfan Jalilian

The new home of Shiraz Persian Restaurant + Bar is located under the Mantra Wings Surfers Paradise, 2893 Gold Coast Highway, Surfers Paradise. (Formerly Black Angus)

The original location will also be kept and rebranded to Shiraz Bistro Mediterranean Cuisine and located at 3106 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise and will offer a more casual-style dining, featuring house-made souvlaki.  Shiraz now boasts two venues on the Gold Coast! 

 Now that Shiraz Persian Restaurant + Bar has a new much larger home, boasting over 200-seats, the interior and alfresco area has been replaced with white and a hint of the Shiraz turquoise feature colour.
A baby-grand piano has already been delivered, the floors are polished, a new marble front counter, a bar area, projector and the ‘well-known’ Shiraz large mirror have all been added to give the venue a true Shiraz Persian feel.

“We have enjoyed giving the venue a true Shiraz Persian touch and also one of the key factors that we loved about our new home is that we have complimentary undercover parking and is just a short stroll from the Light Rail station and being just 5 minutes from our current location.” said Erfan Jalilian

The Persian cuisine that Shiraz is known for will feature on the menu, with the additional of some new dishes set to be reveal closer to the opening late this month.   Certified Halal, boasting a large variety of vegan and vegetarian and gluten free dishes and of course delicious meats.
