Shanghai High Tea. A Yum Cha experience with an optional bottomless drinks package has launched at Rubi Red Kitchen and Bar.
One of Australia’s most awarded and well-respected Chefs, Michael Lambie, recently relocated from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to open his brand-new venue, RUBI RED Kitchen & Bar.
Since opening, RUBI RED has fast become one of the Gold Coast’s hottest dining and drinking spots. Spread over two impressive floors, the rooftop, which features a retractable ceiling, is certain to become even more popular with the launch of the Gold Coast’s most unique high tea…the SHANGHAI HIGH TEA!
Michael has toyed with launching such a concept for a while and it has now come to life
“I wanted to play with the high tea experience and give it a twist…. a Yum Cha twist. Featuring some of my favourite Yum Cha dishes alongside some new ones, the RUBI RED rooftop is the perfect location to enjoy our Shanghai High Tea.” said owner, Michael Lambie.
A selection of menu items available at the Shanghai High Tea include:
• Sake cured King Salmon with a crisp wonton & Shiso
• Soy braised beef Bao bun, pickled cucumber & chilli
• Vegetable & mushroom dumplings with vegan XO sauce
• Steamed barramundi fillet with black bean dressing
• Rubi Red Char sui pork with special fried rice
• Asian greens
The Shanghai High Tea is $49 per person.
A 2-hour bottomless cocktails & drinks package is available for only $50 per person. The package must be taken by all guests at the table and includes unlimited Tiger beers, prosecco and roaming cocktails supported by Peddlers Gin.
