PreviousNext

We all long for a weekend brunch date with friends, but for animal lovers, leaving their prized pooch at home as they sip lattes can be unsettling.

Stop the press!

gcVIP has canvassed the Coast and sniffed out some slick venues where your cute canine can join the party too!

Esplanade Coffee, Surfers Paradise

Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, ESPL Coffee is a great pitstop on your morning walk to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. On Sunday’s, have a little boogie with their DJ-run Sunday Sesh – the perfect way to wake up after a big night out.

Café Catalina, Southport

Overlook the beautiful Broadwater and relax on the lawn at Café Catalina. With good food and great vibes, there’s plenty of space for you and your doggy to unwind or cuddle up in one of their bean bags!

Daark Espresso, Chirn Park

Your puppy is sure to receive plenty of pats from staff and customers at Dark Espresso in Chirn Park. The entire outdoor balcony area is well suited for you and your pooch, you can enjoy your meal while your dog watches those passing by.

Miss Moneypenny’s Broadbeach

Only the best for your fur-baby right? The swanky Miss Moneypenny’s restaurant and bar in Broadbeach welcomes ‘Dog on the Deck’ 7 days a week. Find a spot on the balmy outdoor deck and savour tapas and cocktails until the sun goes down!

Alfred’s Diner, Mermaid Beach

It’s puppy heaven at Alfred’s Diner on weekends! Your dog will be making new friends (both human and dog alike) while you sip on your coffee and enjoy your brekkie roll.

Bumbles Café, Budds Beach

Located next to beautiful Budds Beach, you can enjoy your morning coffee and brunch while both you and your pooch enjoy the view. Bumbles Cafe is a great spot which boasts many local visitors – you’ll have to check it out to see whether I mean human or doggy visitors!

Raw Espresso, Southport

Raw Espresso is entirely suited to your dog! Not only is there plenty of doggy water, but there’s even a doggy menu complete with dog-friendly ice cream. Don’t worry – there’s a menu for you owners too!

Espresso Bonsai, Chevron Island

Equipped with full outdoor seating, Espresso Bonsai is the place for you and your four-legged friend. From personal experience, if they like your pooch they may even make him into latte art!

Burleigh Social, Burleigh Heads

In the heart of Burleigh, get your coffee on with a side of eggs or maybe acai! There will be plenty of dog lovers around to say hello and pat your pooch while you enjoy the sunshine and plan your walking route from Burleigh Social.

Paradox Coffee Roasters, Surfers Paradise

Just outside the hustle and bustle of Surfers, is Paradox Coffee Roasters located in the 4217 precinct. They pride themselves on their fantastic coffee and delicious food, so what’s not to love? Their balcony is completely dog friendly and your dog will even be given their own water bowl!

No Name Lane, Broadbeach

Great food, great coffee and great service. No Name Lane has outdoor seating for you and your pooch, why wouldn’t you head here for brekkie or lunch? Treat your dog to their very own puppicino!
